When tea plants are cultivated under the shade before harvesting in the same way as Gyokuro or Kabuse-sencha, it will then be steamed, dried in the chamber, and it will become「Tencha」. To undergo further process of removing the stems and grinding with stone mill, it will then become matcha. The powdered matcha is made of whole leaves so the umami taste and nutrients are wholly condensed. The product named 「Samidori 」displays brilliant green color and superior flavor. In the midst of Matcha’s bitterness, it reveals layers of tender sweetness and mellow flavor that is unparalleled. This matcha is well-balanced and pleasurable.
